When you are close to the final version of your dissertation you should carefully check it to eliminate errors. It is best to be methodical about the whole process and the following check-list may be helpful.

• Are tables correctly presented? Are the units given in the column headings?

• Is all the text in the correct font?

• Are there any bad line or page breaks that require correction?

• Are all lines consistently spaced?
